Launching Swipe Files
Corey came up with the idea on December 11, 2019. He didn’t take action until March 1st, 2020, when he decided to join the Nocode Rumble. The Nocode Rumble was launched by serial maker, Sarkis Buniatyan, to proactively demonstrate the power of nocode tools through annual challenges. Corey joined 7 other makers to develop 8 products with Sarkis in 3 months.

He finished the MVP mid April and launched the beta 3 days later. He got his first paying customer from the launch email. Within 24 hours, he had 10 paying customers. At that point, his core web stack was Webflow, Memberstack, Jetboost and Convertkit. He shared more about the no-code tools he used at How to create a membership website. By the end of April, his revenue was more than his expenses.
He launched a private community in October, 2020.
1000 True Fans
The experiment was to see if he could get 1000 customers of Swipe Files and make a full time living on the internet.
He created a dedicated page to share current statistics as well as behind-the-scenes of his journey. In March, 2021, he simplified the landing page to just include the number of True Fans and MRR.

He wrote a Twitter thread one month after joining. He shared observations about where Baremetrics was going, the market, and what he’d been up to. He created a Twitter thread on his one year anniversary sharing 12 things he learned the last 12 months.
He left Baremetrics in September, 2020, to become a full time creator.
